Plot

Omi and Jai are womanizers who flirt with every girl they meet. One day, they meet Seema (Taapsee Pannu), a beautiful and smart girl who has just moved in as their neighbor. Omi and Jai try to impress her with their poetry and stories, but fail miserably. Sid, on the other hand, meets Seema by chance at a local bookstore and they hit it off instantly. They start dating secretly, without telling Omi and Jai.
When Omi and Jai find out about Sid and Seema's relationship, they feel jealous and betrayed. They decide to break them up by lying to Seema that Sid is already married to another woman and has a son. They also hire a fake father (Anupam Kher) and a fake wife (Bharati Achrekar) to pose as Sid's family. Seema believes their story and breaks up with Sid, who is heartbroken. Omi and Jai then try to woo Seema again, but she rejects them both.
Meanwhile, Sid learns the truth from his friends' landlord, Joseph (Rishi Kapoor), who is in love with Seema's grandmother, Josephine (Lillete Dubey).
